Breeding Program Our philosophy is to breed Braque Francais on a limited basis, utilizing a breeding program that will ultimately carry on the unique characteristics of the breed, and will maintain the high level of satisfaction we have experienced in Ronny and Addie. We prioritize hunting performance, but we will not sacrifice a good disposition to achieve that.
Our philosophy mandates that before breeding, our dogs must be:
· CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) registered · NAVHDA (North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association) registered · Registered with OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) · Registered through CERF (Canine Eye Registration Foundation) · Awarded at least a Prize III in the NAVHDA Natural Ability or Utility test · Completely healthy and free of genetic defects · At least 24-months of age
Frequently Asked Questions
We receive a lot of questions about how we handle the sale of our puppies. The following information will answer the questions we receive most frequently. If you have any other questions for us please do not hesitate to email or call. · We will indicate on our website when we have planned our next litter. We do not accept deposits before we know with a great deal of certainty when we plan to have our next litter. However, if you are interested in obtaining a puppy from us we will be happy to work with you. · We take a $150 deposit to reserve either a male or a female puppy. The purchase price includes a vet check, the first series of shots, tail docking, and registration with the Canadian Kennel Club and NAVHDA (North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association.) · We do our best to keep our customers updated in regards to the breeding, the pregnancy and the progress of the pups. · We provide a three-year health guarantee for our puppies. Please see our Breeding Contract and Health Guarantee for more information. · For the pups that are shipped: We purchase an Intermediate Pet Porter-style crate and add the actual cost to the cost of the pup. The pups are shipped from the Minneapolis/St. Paul airport to maximize the odds of the pups getting a direct flight to their new homes. The shipping charges are paid directly to the airline. · The pups are selected at seven weeks of age in the order in which the deposits were placed. · Our pups are ready for their new homes at nine weeks of age. · We feed Purina Pro Plan Puppy Chicken and Rice to our pups. |
