Adela De La Balingue
Addie was born in the southwest portion of France at the La Balingue Kennel owned by Annick Besson. We imported Adela from France when she was four months old and she has been a treasure in our family ever since. Not only is Addie an enthusiastic hunter and a hard worker, she has a sweet nature and adoring personality. Addie is very affectionate and has a very soft nature that is characteristic of the Braque Francais.
Addie is a classic versatile hunting dog in that she has a balance of skills in pointing, tracking, retrieving and water work. She is a tireless hunter and can work all day long. She is also very easy to train and retains her training very well during the off-season. Addie also has an excellent coat that repels water and holds up well to brush.
Addie is a finished gun dog. She is steady to wing, shot and fall and enthusiastically retrieves fallen game. She also has excellent water skills. She has a water entry that rivals most retrievers and is relentless when retrieving ducks. Addie is passing these traits along to her puppies.
